Sharing dashboards is an effective way for your teams to collaborate on Keypup.

You can share dashboards with any of your team members (learn how to add someone to your team).

Share with a team member or edit a role from a dashboard

Use the Share button on top of any dashboard of which you are Owner or Editor.

From the sharing modal, write your team members’ names or use the dropdown button to add the user to the “Shared with” list. Use the role button on the right of any user to edit or modify the access permissions.

Note that you can add, remove or change permissions of users at any time from this modal.

Share with a team member or edit a role from the collections

When you are browsing the dashboard collections, use the Share button in the (...) button on the right of the dashboard name (or from the Share icon at the top right of a dashboard tile) to open the sharing modal. Setup permissions for your team members by following the process described above.

Roles and Permissions

Each Keypup role provides a range of permissions on the dashboards and attached insights:

Owner: the creator of a dashboard. They can:

  • Edit insights that belong to the dashboard. These modifications will be passed to all dashboard members.

  • Remove insights from the dashboard. These insights will be removed from the dashboards and collections of all members, but the owner keeps a copy of it.

  • Permanently delete insights that belong to the dashboard. These insights will be deleted from the dashboards and collections of all members.

  • Export insights data.

Editor: user that has been invited to a dashboard as editor. They can:

  • Edit insights that belong to the dashboard. These modifications will be passed to all dashboard members.

  • Remove insights from the dashboard. These modifications will be passed to all dashboard members, but the owner of the insight will keep the original insight in their collection.

  • Export insights data.

Viewer: user that has been invited to view a dashboard. They can:

  • View the dashboard in read-only mode.

  • View the insights attached to the dashboard in their collection (“Shared with me”).
