The Configuration Assistant is the quickest and easiest way to set up a dashboard to match your needs. You can use it to get a dashboard up and running with your preferred configuration without manually fine-tuning each insight.

To access the Configuration Assistant, click on the New Dashboard button at the top of the left navigation menu then select one of the dashboard templates.

You will be automatically redirected to the interface.

The Configuration Assistant interface is structured in two parts

  • The list of questions, on the left side, is where you configure your dashboard.

  • The video summary, on the right side, which provides you with information about the dashboard you are creating.

Each dashboard template has a customized set of questions that are most relevant to them.

To access your new dashboard, all these questions must be answered. Most answers are pre-filled with recommended options, which can of course be changed based on your preferences.

These answers will be applied directly to the configuration of your dashboard and its insights. Each insight’s configuration can later be edited and fine-tuned via the Insight Builder.

Each question is documented to help you understand how and why the answer is used. Click the (?) button on the right of the question to open the contextual help.

You can always revert to the default dashboard configuration by clicking the Revert answers to default button in the lower part of the page.

After completing all answers, press the Create dashboard button at the bottom of the page. This will redirect you to your newly created dashboard.

From there you can further fine-tune your new dashboard by editing each insights via the Insight Builder interface.
