Our Claude Platform integration imports the Claude usage of your Claude Console organization (platform.claude.com): how many developers use Claude Code, where they use it (terminal, IDE, cloud), which models they use, how much code it writes, and how many tokens your applications consume through the Claude API.
This usage is exposed on Keypup as the AI Usage dataset, and can be reported next to your pull request and issue metrics, or compared with GitHub Copilot, OpenAI and other AI tools.
We do not fetch your code or your prompts. Anthropic publishes Claude usage as daily counts - sessions, lines of code, commits, tokens - and that is all Keypup retrieves.
Which Claude plans are supported?
The integration reads Anthropic's Admin API, which only exists for Claude Console organizations. What decides whether a developer's usage is reported is how they signed in to Claude, not which tool they used.
Claude Console organization (pay-as-you-go API, Claude Platform) - supported. Claude Code sessions signed in with a Claude Console account or run with an API key of the organization, and every Claude API call made with its API keys, are reported.
Claude Team - not supported. Anthropic does not offer an analytics API on the Team plan: usage can only be viewed in the claude.ai analytics dashboard.
Claude Enterprise - not supported for usage made with claude.ai seats. Anthropic reports it through a separate Enterprise Analytics API, with a different key created in claude.ai, which Keypup does not read yet.
Personal plans (Free, Pro, Max) - not supported. They have no organization to report on.
A Claude Enterprise or Team key does not work. Keys created in claude.ai (starting with sk-ant-api01- and carrying scopes such as read:analytics) cannot read the Admin API. If your company has both a Claude Console organization and a Claude Enterprise or Team plan, only the Console organization's usage can be imported.
Usage through Amazon Bedrock, Google Cloud Vertex AI, Microsoft Foundry or Claude Platform on AWS is not reported by Anthropic's Admin API either, and cannot be imported.
How to connect Claude Platform
Create an Admin API key in the Claude Console. See Claude Platform - Create an Admin API key to connect to Keypup.
In Keypup, go to Settings > App management, click Connect on Claude Platform and paste the key.
Keypup creates one project per Claude Console organization. Enable it to start the import.
What data do we collect?
Claude Code usage, per developer and per day, broken down by surface (terminal, IDE, cloud) and by model:
sessions, lines of code added and deleted, commits and pull requests created by Claude Code;
edits accepted and rejected by the developer;
input, output and cached tokens per model.
Claude API usage, per day, per user or service account and per model: input, output and cached tokens, and web search requests. This is the traffic of your applications, scripts and tools calling the Claude API with your organization's keys.
Anthropic attributes no usage to a repository, so the repository and language fields of the AI Usage dataset stay empty for Claude. For the full field coverage, see AI Usage provider coverage.
How often do we refresh data?
Keypup reads Anthropic's usage reports every 6 hours, as Anthropic does not support webhooks. Claude Code usage is published by Anthropic with up to an hour of delay, so the current day fills in progressively.
The first import retrieves up to one year of history. To pick up late corrections from Anthropic, the last 35 days are read again on every refresh.
Troubleshooting
The key is rejected when connecting. Check that it is an Admin API key (starting with sk-ant-admin01-) or a personal API key scoped to the organization, created in the Claude Console rather than in claude.ai, and that it has not expired. Workspace API keys are rejected.
Some developers are missing. They are most likely using Claude Code signed in with a claude.ai account (Pro, Max, Team or Enterprise seat), whose usage Anthropic does not report to the Console organization. Ask them to sign in to Claude Code with their Claude Console account instead.
The integration disconnected. The key was revoked or expired, or, for a personal key, its owner left the organization. Create a new key and reconnect Claude Platform.
