Reporting Use Cases
The Commits field counts commits the assistant created itself, rather than commits a person made with its help.
Autonomous work: It is a direct measure of how much the assistant is doing end to end, as opposed to suggesting.
Compare with the Commits dataset: Set it against total commits over the same period for an AI share of commits.
Anthropic only: No other provider publishes a commit count today.
