NOT_INCLUDE_EXACTLY

Written by Tom Williams

Type: Function

Function: NOT_INCLUDE_EXACTLY

Syntax: NOT_INCLUDE_EXACTLY(list, values)

Description: Returns true if the list does not contain exactly the values: one of them is missing, or another value is present.

NOT_INCLUDE_EXACTLY is the opposite of CONTAINS_EXACTLY: NOT_INCLUDE_EXACTLY(list, values) is the same as NOT(CONTAINS_EXACTLY(list, values)).

It is the same condition as the does not contain exactly filter of the insight designer (see Using filters). Use it in a custom formula, to count, group or label records on that condition, or as a filter in a query sent through the Keypup API or MCP server.

Sample usage:

  • NOT_INCLUDE_EXACTLY(label_names, ["bug", "urgent"]) returns true for the records whose labels are anything but exactly "bug" and "urgent".
